redundancy. Since the Atlantis Story was given in three separate messages the only paragraphs we dropped were repeated relatively word-for-word in another reference we do include.

As we explained in the introduction to our website we do not claim to be "New Age Experts," and with the topic of Atlantis this may become apparent more than with others. How so? Before I began channeling as "Melvyn," I didn't believe in Atlantis, except as some fabled myth in folklore. As a channeler this may be an advantage for what you are about to read comes straight from Zeb and Zarna, not as an established Atlantis myth.

This is "history," not "spirituality." The significant point of Zeb’s clarification is that many look upon other misguided interpretations of the Atlantis story as an example of an angry God’s destructive rage upon this continent as punishment for some supposed evil. Some point to Atlantis as an example of a coming similar destruction to cleanse the earth of its evil. Zeb makes it clear that…

Atlantis: Was NOT God's Destruction.

A Summary of The Atlantis Story:

Zeb:> (27.5) This goes back to the time of your Earth's great sundering--a disaster that destroyed half the life forms of your world by Earth, Fire, Wind and Water. There were only a few hours by your time of warning. It was one of those freak "accidents" of your cosmos, where two giant planetoids were blown off course by a planetary collision in your solar system. Two giant fragments headed for your Earth and collided above your eastern ocean and the continent that was there is no more.

6. By then, your atmosphere had turned them into fiery balls that struck as they collided with earth and water. As you have by now guessed, this land is what has been called Atlantis

I had returned in the hopes of saving some of you, our children. I was vaporized in an instant and returned to my energy state as were hundreds of thousands of you--returned prematurely.

7. But not all were destroyed. Some went to the western continent (your American lands) trading. But those to the east were decimated as their home shattered and sank beneath the seas and a gigantic wall of fire in the sky roared toward the eastern lands that you call Europe . This was followed by a raging wall of water that flooded most of the then known land to the east with a wave hundreds of feet high.

(49.5) There are many things you may wish to know, such as a "rough history of the world" that are quite involved. Some of you are not ready for it yet because of your preconception that the "race of man" all came from one source, "Adam and Eve." There were several sources, as there were several "Adams and Eves," each "seeded" at different times in different places. It is no accident that Mel used the term "species of man." You come from different places within your universe plus the ones indigenous to your planet. Of these there are only three of the original five "races" remaining in your time.

Star Seedlings:

(49.6) These are the races of man that are spoken of by your Ancients in Genesis when Cain was afraid that "others" would torment and kill him for what he did to Able. What "others?" These were the "Sons of God," inappropriately called by your Ancients. Your planet has been "seeded" and "reseeded." Have you not noticed your Ancient's choice of words, "Let us replenish..." meaning to repopulate, not populate--supposedly used in reference to the Earth's "original" seeding?

7. Your "brief history" would include three of seven Grand Cycles (which is approximately seven times seven of your 26,000 year Great Celestial Cycles. Within your current 26,000 year cycle there has been only one seeding--the one of your "species" of man in Northern Europe . Two others existed prior to this current cycle.

8. Your planet has experienced many reformations and destructions which give rise to your “gloom and doom” theorists. But I tell you this: God has never destroyed a single people because of their "wicked" ways. There is no such thing. Man has destroyed himself repeatedly, time after time, by his own means. Always the Spring comes following Winter and new shoots appear. The time of bareness is over.

9. There have been Others from outside your galaxy who have had great influence in your development. Record of these has been mostly lost in antiquity. There were even some who used your early people as slaves for their own gain. This will not be repeated again by any species of man from outside your planet for Others have their interests and "staked their claim" to what is on Earth.

10. There are those who visited you from Sirius, Antaries, and from the Pleiades. But don't be so concerned with these. Most of those who have influenced your past come from star systems you have not even discovered yet. You are part of a universal community. Does it matter whether your neighbor comes from Boston , New Orleans or Oklahoma City ? No. You are all one "kind." So it is with your "visitors."

Mel:> When did they come?

(49.11) When did the civilizations rise? The first "coming” of the five species of man was during the Second Grand Cycle. Two species didn't last. Their second "seeding" of the new race was in the present cycle of 26,000 years--approximately 18,000 years ago by your calculations, that reached their pinnacle at about 15,000 B.C.E.

12. What race were they? They were the "Golden Haired Fair Skinned Ones that settled Atlantis and Northern Europe of what you call of Nordic ancestry today. They were the Antarians of the original kind. That system has since been reseeded with "Antarians" who bear no resemblance to human life forms now. We are the original Antarians, and yes--the original Atlanteans.

13. Our settlement of Atlantis was benevolent. We were traders and astrologers. We sought out the mysteries of the universe while not neglecting the mysteries of the gods we are. We were not a "warring people" in the beginning. Who was there to "war" with? The Ancient Greeks were still using stone hammers and wearing animal skins-- "cave men"--when we first came here. Why would we war with superstitious children?

14. Of course, I hope you realize that when I say "we," I do not mean Zarna and me, but I identify with our children who were there....

15. The cosmic holocaust was of natural causes--a slight deviation triggered by celestial alignments that wiped out all life on your fourth and fifth planets and also almost totally eliminated half of the life on your own planet. This was no punishment by God, for we are God.

16. Remember this, there are the physical events, histories and peoples--that have come and gone, and come again, and there are the spiritual events that do not and have not changed. All that has changed is how our message has been revealed and by whom. Naturally, every people in every time has changed this message into a self-serving cultural myth and set themselves up over others. This is no more truth than one of your gender was intended to lord over the other gender.

Mel:>When did Atlantis's destruction happen?

(50.12) Your people believe time is something that is "fixed," that can't be altered or rent by some catastrophic event of epic proportion. Well they are wrong. Time is in a constant state of flux. Humankind has in just the past four thousand years not only changed both their measure of time, but their concept of the universe several times. Your "scientific" measuring devices measure time as you now conceive it.

13. Quite literally, "time is relative" --relative to how you measure the years, the speed of rotation of your planet, and its orbit around your sun. On its own, all of these are slowing down--without such an event that literally "ripped the fabric of time" and created a time warp that you cannot explain today. What happened in an instant—in less time than between two heart beats your "scientists" will register from 15,000 to 10,500 B.C.E.

Mel:>What happened?

14. It is necessary for us to put into perspective just what happened in a series of cosmic events, for so many believe the sinking of Atlantis was a singular event or "God's" retribution. What they fail to realize, because they don't know, is that all life on two planets in your system was destroyed in a series of catastrophic events.

First, the fifth planet in your system--now known as "The Asteroid Belt" was hit by another world that entered your system. All life there was instantly destroyed. The debris of both planets flew so close to your fourth planet (Mars) that it swept away most of its atmosphere and water--destroying all life on that planet--still the destruction continued.

One planetoid fragment from the fifth planet settled into orbit around your Earth and became your Moon as two other fragments half the size of continents collided midair over Atlantis. All life there and for a thousand miles in all directions was instantly vaporized.

15. The oceans were blown back or vaporized and the bare ocean floor was turned into molten lava. The very mantle of your planet ruptured, as a wall of fire raced east followed by waters of Earth and Mars combined in a gigantic tidal wave of unknown proportions raced towards the eastern shore.

One third of all life on Earth was destroyed instantly and more followed. "The Flood" for the next forty years covered most of the land, and the land was unable to receive sunlight through the smoke and mists causing all vegetation in a large part of the world to die. Tropical jungles became deserts and tall mountains were flattened. Where plains once existed, ridges of new mountains arose and your kind thinks this took hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of years to occur. It didn't. Time warped.

Mel:> I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around such devastation.

(50.26) Let me put the event into a perspective of your time so you can get a feel for the magnitude.

27. Your continent of North America in the 21st Century is almost surrounded on three sides by water. Imagine instead that it is totally surrounded by water. Withdraw your occupying armies from around the world for there are no wars that concern you, no colonization efforts and nor do you have "diplomats" or diplomatic communities abroad. All you have abroad are your Merchant Marine in their ships plying their trade and commerce around the world. Neither do you have "air travel," or "tourists" seeing foreign lands, for there is nothing in those barbaric lands that interest you. Your island continent is pretty much isolationistic--people go about their own business at home.

28. Then in an instant, with no warning, the very air you breathe for several thousand miles in all directions disappears in a horrific explosion that mercifully extinguishes all life within the radius of that fire-burst--even before the land is hammered by a shock wave that pulverizes solid rock and space debris rain down on what is no more. Land, mountains, trees and oceans turn into molten lava--a sea of seething fire, as your Earth's mantle cracks and liquid fire rushes up from below to meet the fire from above. Great crevasses open up and swallow what remains of cities and mountains then close again.

29. The fireball of two planetoids, half the size of your continent, struck at such an angle that the Earth is tilted forever on its axis and a wave of wind and fire rages east at thousands of miles an hour. Behind it comes a wall of water so high nothing on the Eastern continent for hundreds of miles inland can withstand it.

30. The event was of such magnitude it was felt all across your galaxy as thousands rushed to your aid, and some for your plunder. The few Atlanteans who were "Left Behind" were simple sailors, merchants of the sea. Do you think they built the pyramids? Most were so emotionally devastated when they realized their entire land, all their families, everything they had known and loved--their reason for living--was gone.

31. Many years later those who could return to their Home found nothing but water. They reverted to primitives among the islands and the western continent (yours) and much later still were the "white natives" found by your early explorers. They and other survivors were absorbed into the remaining communities of the world or wandered as outcasts without a home.

Mel:>What was the society of Atlantis like, before--were they advanced?

(50.17) They were much like you in many ways, but more psychically advanced, not technologically advanced. Atlanteans were prone to all the foibles of mankind for they were human. Some felt themselves to be elite and in many ways they were. Others used their psychic abilities to heal, while some used them to dominate their will over others in the name of "religion."

They, like you, used their military power to dominate and subdue "inferior" people and they took slaves. But most were peaceful merchant traders, homemakers, poets, artists, musicians and politicians.

18. In other words, the nature of man has not changed all that much from those who were indigenous to your planet to those who came there from elsewhere. It is the same for you today. You have your own indigenous population and those who come from elsewhere and you have those who have returned. In most cases, among those who have returned, each stays to itself without much contact with the others.

Mel:>What kind of government did they have--their religions?

19. You ask about the Atlantean form of government? It was a theocracy, no different from many early cultures. They were polytheistic in that they worshipped One God but had several "lesser gods" who were seen as aspects of the "One God." Like the Romans, Greeks, Egyptians and Chinese--their gods were manifestations of nature--the Sun, Moon, Earth, Fire, Wind and Water, Death and War. Not all that different from your "Saints" today.

20. Like your kind, they deified "evil" and thought of it as "bad" or the "darkside" when they were describing their own human nature (not God's nature). They set up their evil gods as the powers over darkness, and their good gods as the powers of light. They had the two warring as men do, with good triumphing over evil.

21. They offered animal sacrifices to their gods of fertility and abundance and feared their gods of evil that supposedly snatched away the unwary and little children. It has been amusing to us to see how the blind have always led the blind, and when we send them light through our messengers they most often killed the messengers in preference for their familiar darkness. Traditions are more easily followed than truth.

Mel:>Were the Atlanteans a wicked warring people?

If you were one of their enemies that they battled with, you too would have seen them as "wicked." Remember, "history" is usually recorded by the victor who usually is the survivor. In the Atlantean's case, they were the victors who were destroyed by natural cosmic events and had their history written for them by their enemies.

Mel:> Why didn't God warn the people of the coming destruction?

22. Before the full spectrum of God is criticized for not informing its children, let me remind you--when I found out what was happening, I materialized there in an attempt to help and was physically disintegrated in that instant. It was not an "Act of God," nor was it because of their "wickedness." It would be a mistake to believe that all cosmic events are "planned" and "predictable." If they were, there would be no experience and your level of God who cannot see the future is not the only level of God to "experience." Much of the future can be seen, but there are also events that are created "in process." This is no different from you being able during an incarnation to make choices which change your lifeplan that you desired before you were incarnated.

Mel:> Was theirs a utopian society?

25. Ah! The beauty of one's dreams and desires! Only within the Astral realm of Love do you create your perfect "utopian societies." There has never been one yet on your Earth and never will be as far as we can see into your future. Yet neither is your world "going to hell in a hand basket." (as some of you like to say) For one, there is no "hell," and changes have been made where what happened at the time of Atlantis so long ago (which seems to us like yesterday) will never happen again.

Do you remember your ancient belief regarding the meaning of the rainbow? That the Earth will never again be destroyed by water? Well, that is part of it. The Earth will never again be destroyed by Earth, Wind, Fire or Water. That was what was actually meant, for all four elements were present in the destruction of so much and so many lives.

Your Golden Age is ahead of you, not lost behind in the mists of folklore and legends.
