Caryl and I have often written about "The ZZ Mission" which is a Twin Soul Spiritual Mission, but we have yet to explain in any depth or detail just what a Mission is.  

  So what I plan to do in this article is to present a complete picture of missions of all sorts and how you can create your own, or get involved with one that already exists, without having to join anything. I added the last part because Caryl is always reminding me that spiritually advanced people are very independent and not "joiners." I can understand that. I'm pretty independent myself.

  First of all, we need to define what a " Mission " is and distinguish a Mission from a Spiritual Mission and understand the difference between those and a Twin Soul Spiritual Mission .

  Why? Because Caryl often answers emails from individuals who come to us with a persistent “gut feeling” that they are meant to do “something” but they don’t know just what. Many are advanced souls who have not met their Twin Soul and some are in relationships where their passion for spiritual service is not shared by their spouse. Service to others is an important aspect of the ZZ teachings. So let’s explore further about Missions. 

What is a Mission?

When we see someone pursuing something with complete absorption, dedication, purpose and work we often say, "They're on a mission." If someone goes from one shop to another looking for that perfect pair of high heels to match that bag they bought the previous week and spends a major portion of the day doing so, it definitely can be said, "They're on a mission." We can not deny that they have pursued their quest with…

What is a Spiritual Mission?

Contrary to what some people must think, a "Spiritual Mission " is not done for self, nor is it done for personal recognition or for God, or Zeb and Zarna.

Question: So why do we get involved in spiritual missions if not for God?

Answer: One involves themselves in a Spiritual Mission for others, not for God, money, fame or for entertainment.

A Spiritual Mission is a labor of love performed for others with complete absorption, dedication, purpose and work.

Love of others is the motivating factor. It can be expressed in many ways from being a friend who will listen and not be judgmental, or the person who edits articles or designs illustrations for the website. It could be someone who cares enough to improve the world we live in by participating in environmental healing sessions, or personal sessions where God’s love energy is focused on another. Love Heals.

A Spiritual Mission can be an individual or group effort, or a Spiritual Mission can be individuals involved as part of a larger Twin Soul Spiritual Mission .

How does a Twin Soul Mission Differ? 

First of all, the rare event when two halves of the same soul (Twin Souls) both reach Soul Maturity (bi-gender balance of one's inner masculine and feminine aspects, regardless of their physical age, or gender) they are brought together for purposes higher than satisfying a romantic relationship encounter with another.

The “soul” purpose of Twin Souls being brought together is to serve a Spiritual Mission not only because of the love they have for each other, but for the love they have for all humankind.

Not all Twin Soul Spiritual Missions are like the ZZ Mission, involving channeling clarified and presenting new spiritual concepts to the world. This is merely one form of a twin Soul Spiritual Mission .

A Twin Soul Spiritual Mission is a labor of love performed with your Twin Soul and others with complete absorption, dedication purpose and work, for the joy and love that comes from helping others. In so doing, a Twin Soul Spiritual Mission is often large enough to provide opportunities for others to pursue their passion for mission service within the Twin Soul Mission .

The ZZ Mission is such a Twin Soul Spiritual Mission and can provide a perfect "training ground" for others who know from a gut level that “there is something they are supposed to do.”

Spiritual Missions vary and incorporate many different services. What is your passion! What do you love to do that can also serve others? Many believe a spiritual mission is to present a spiritual philosophy of some kind--like "The ZZ Mission." But there are many others.

Caryl has recently communicated with a spiritual team who visits our site from New Zealand, whose mission is to help earth bound souls who, for some reason or another, are reluctant to cross over to the Otherside after their physical death. Let me share with you how they describe their work:

“Myself and colleague help souls who have just passed over, be it natural death, suicide ,accidents etc, who are able to connect with us. They come to us to assist them in passing over to gods, love and light. Some of these souls have been here for a along time. It is a beautiful thing to be able to help them over.”

This is a wonderful example of two people—not twins, just friends—putting their skills to work help others.

Spiritual Missions deal with many aspects of spiritual assistance to others. This is just one. Other opportunities to inspire, heal, entertain, or enlighten are limited only by your imagination.

But let's give an analogy that will help us further understand how a Twin Soul Mission works. Last February, (2006) the Winter Olympic Games were held in Torino Italy . The finest athletes from all over the world came to represent their countries and compete for the Gold.

Think of the couples figure skating events and consider how this might compare to a Twin Soul Spiritual Mission .

1) It involves two primary people -- a male and female pair, but there are also many others involved behind the scenes, like training coaches and others that you don't see.

2) As we watch the beauty and precision of each youthful pair go through their routine can we not see the "complete absorption, dedication and purpose" they have? What we cannot see, because they make it look so easy is the work --the hundreds of thousands of grueling hours spent not over just four years getting ready; but in most cases from the time they were small children.

We also do not see, but can imagine the dedication of the parents who usually—at least in the early stages--finance their training, or the coach who labors hour helping them to perform at their best. 

We do not see triumph of many little victories leading to the moment they try for the Silver, Bronze or Gold Medal. Nor can we always see the "agony of defeat" at all the injuries and the failure to place in the top three.

All this sounds as if they have done this for themselves. Think again, they have been in training some years for the joy of it and the pleasure and inspiration it brings others by being the best that they can be. And in doing so inspire us with their beauty, grace and dedication—giving us an example to be the best that we can be.

Also, think of the thousands of little girls and boys who were inspired to follow in their footsteps and endure falls on the cold hard ice, hours of ballet lessons and skinned knees--or worse.

3) Call it a romantic illusion, but I can see another parallel between this and a Twin Soul Spiritual Mission . I see the Love between the two. Think of it for a moment, these couples we watched spent at least four years (since the last Olympic event) getting ready for this moment. Chances are they have spent twice that time--thousands of hours in each other's arms practicing until they got it down perfectly. Then consider all elimination events they had to go through to reach that moment when they stand on Olympic ice listening to their cue music. 

Ask any figure skating pair at this level of competitive skill and I think they would tell you, that they would not run out the night before the big event and get a new partner. This makes me think of all the many incarnations it takes for each Twin Soul to achieve Soul Maturity before Twin Soul can be reunited and eventually joined.

If the woman is injured in a fall from a high lift--both as a pair they are out of the competition--perhaps for good. These partners are like Twin Souls except Twin Souls are for eternity, and if you are not yet united with your twin, then you can go on alone--you can serve by yourself or with another. Service to humanity is not dependent on being united with a twin. 

I could go on and on. As you can see, I was quite inspired by watching the Olympic ice skating pairs competition.  I was taken by the absolute excellence and beauty of the male and female form performing in perfect union.

Look at all of this and you will see the others who stand proudly in the wings, having done their part and the resulting inspiration they have given to the world. 

How do I find a Spiritual Mission?

Sometimes a Spiritual Mission finds you--meaning it can result from a life-long love and passion for doing whatever it is that you are good at that serves others with love. This love and passion may motivate you to invest time and money often over a number of years to study and to attend lectures and seminars. In this case a Spiritual Mission becomes your outlet for expressing your talents. Or ...

It can come from a sudden life-changing event, like a Near Death Experience, that throws your whole comfortable world upside down and sets your feet on a path you never even thought possible before. Such events often leave you with abilities you never thought possible. Those who have read Who is Melvyn Caryl, How It All Began, The Power of Love, and What Happens When We Die? -- Part 4,  will know how,  will know how I became Melvyn of Melvyn Caryl. Caryl seems to have followed Melvyn of Melvyn Caryl. Caryl seems to have followed the previous approach of  "a life-long love."

Question: But what if I have no talents and have never attended a seminar or experienced any miraculous events?

Answer: Everyone has talent. It's more a matter of discovering what you enjoy doing the most, and finding or creating an opportunity to express this talent in the service of others. This is where an established Mission can be helpful.

  Help Wanted!

Allow me to present The ZZ Mission as an example of a Spiritual Mission where you can learn useful talents or express the ones you have developed. If this begins to appear as a set of "Help Wanted Advertisements" It is intentional. We extend the opportunity to everyone to volunteer.

What we want to do for others through the ZZ Mission cannot be done by us alone.  What are some of these "ZZ Mission" opportunities for Volunteer Help? Let me give you a list and then we will expand on them one by one.

We need help with the following…

·        Could you help the Healing Team for both personal healing efforts and the Earth Healing effort—Healing of Humanity?

·        Could you sit the chat room incase someone might need to visit with a person who is familiar with the ZZ message--or maybe just need someone to talk to?

·        Could you translate the ZZ Articles and Messages from English into another language?

·        Could you answer emails or translate emails?

·        Could you write inspirational or romantic short stories or poetry?

·        Are you an artists who can work in digital medium?

·        Are you a computer Guru?  We need you!

·        Do you know how and would you help us establish a non-profit organization? 

·        Could you edit English articles for the website?

There are many opportunities to express your talents. Now let’s take them one at a time.

The Healing Team

The ZZ Mission has a Healing Team. This is a World-Wide Remote Healing effort where devoted healers work with the Power of Love.  Here Spiritual Healers apply their own methods or follow ours in fulfilling individual requests for personal spiritual healing support or for the environmental healing (The Humanity Healing—HH) effort that gathers every Saturday in ZZ Chat.  (See schedule) After the session it is always fun to visit in the chat room. We need more participants!

Question: "I thought you said in the beginning we didn't have to join anything."

Answer: There is a difference between joining and participation. Those who participate in the HH Sessions do so not because they have to, but because they want to—it feels good and those involved will tell you that weekly exposure to this divine energy has shown positive results in boosting immune systems of those healers who participate. 

Question: "But what if I don't know how to do 'Remote Healing' the way you do?"

Answer: You don't have to do it our way. Do it your way. We have discovered the combined energies of these healers, and the concentration of this energy using the Power Symbols creates a tremendous power. The "method" we use most often is not "The ZZ Method" (which is still being delivered) but an adaptation that Caryl has found very effective over the years. I am a living testimony to the fact that it works (twice).

When the ZZ Method (The SAM Meditation Method of Remote Healing) is complete we will offer an online training class for those of the Healing Team free as a trial. Once the class is tested it will be offered as an online class for a nominal fee. This method relies heavily on "The Secrets of Isis " and employs the Power of the Pyramid to collect and focus energy.

Question: What if I don't know anything about Remote Healing but still want to participate before the ZZ "SAM Method" is ready?

Answer: If you know how to love others and can follow a guided meditation, your presence will be a positive benefit. To participate, be in the ZZ Chat Lounge a few minutes before the healing event.

All service within The ZZ Mission provides opportunity for advancement and the fun of leadership. The Healing of Humanity project is Mary McPheeters’ brain child, and in essence is her Mission within the ZZ Mission. We support her efforts whole heartedly as do others who participate weekly. These events are coordinated by Mary and each week a volunteer leads the healing session.

Leading the HH session is good training for our future online classes covering various aspects of ZZ Spirituality. HH Session leaders can be our near future ZZ course teachers.

Language Translation Sections

It is our (Melvyn Caryl's) personal desire to provide separate sections on "The Voice" for the major languages we see represented every month in our website reports. A Dutch Section has been started, and is accessible for a few key articles and we hope to create more interest in all languages, especially  Spanish, Swedish, Danish, Polish, Flemish, German and Hungarian.

Question: "But what if the article doesn't translate exactly into my language?"

Answer: We expect this. We are looking to have the intent captured, not an exact word-for-word translation. In other words, we want the article presented as if it was originally written in your language--fluid and smooth, and if you have to eliminate the American idioms or our attempts at humor, you have the freedom to do so.

Question: But what guideline will I use when in doubt about the "ZZ Spiritual Philosophy?"

Answer: You can ask us. If you accidentally change a key point of the ZZ Spirituality there will be others who will read this and eventually this will be brought to our attention. (no harm done). Translating is a tremendous service to the ZZ Mission and to your fellow country men and women.

Translation will provide increasing roles of responsibility and opportunities to serve others and the ZZ Mission. For example, when we begin to offer our articles in another language, we can expect to receive emails asking questions in that language. We need those who will either translate emails or answer them directly. This will be helping us and helping others.

Chat Room

Now, how can a "Chat Room" be a "Spiritual Mission ?" Simple. A Spiritual Mission involves expressing love and understanding for others. Let's say it is 2 AM in the morning and you can't sleep because of a problem in your relationship and you want  someone who is understanding to talk to. It may be the middle of the night where you are, but somewhere in this world it is the middle of the afternoon. You might find someone in the “ZZ Lounge" at that moment.

If enough interest is created in your country for a Spiritual Chat Room in your language we will set up one. You can talk to others in the group, IM another privately, or create a private chat room and have one or more join you.

One of the purposes of "The ZZ Mission" is providing an opportunity for people to meet. We now have that opportunity; all we need are the people to man the chat room.

Writers and Poets

As you may have already noticed we offer a section for Love Poetry (much of which is written by others) and a section for spiritually inspiring articles written by guest authors. In the near future (if the interest is there) we intend to expand this section to include more authors as well as quality short stories (5,000 words or less) inspirational stories or romantic fiction. Why? Our people enjoy entertainment as well as enlightenment. We hope to provide a more balanced assortment of reading material both in our books and articles and short stories on our website. Coming to The Voice should be fun.

Submitting Work 

If you intend to submit serious inspirational non-fiction work, be sure to change the names and fictionalize the story enough that you are not infringing on another’s privacy. All submitted works to this site must be original works written by the person submitting. We will not support opposing spiritual philosophies on "The Voice."

Simultaneous submissions are acceptable. Writers retain all rights to their own work. If writing is your thing, then this will give you an exposure to the web crawlers who will pick up your byline. 

Other Opportunities 

Computer Gurus! Caryl and I are not proficient in current computer science. This website is maintained by us using Front Page (which we would like to change), but we could use some technical help.

Legal help – Soon we will be publishing our first book and setting up a ZZ Services and Products page on this website. We are told that starting a non-profit organization would help us. Does anyone know how to set up a non-profit organization? Can you help us? 

Oh! We forgot to mention one little detain about Spiritual Missions. When higher level beings come into your life and say, "You are our Speakers, and you are to instigate the ZZ Mission for this age." I wonder if they consider that we do not know how to do these things. Probably. We have faith that they will send others to come to our aid--we are hopeful. So far we have been blessed.

Getting involved in our Twin Soul Spiritual Mission only requires volition to do what you may enjoy to help others.  In a world where there is so much hatred and bigotry, let’s provide love and tolerance. If we do, we will discover we are all more alike than different.  The world can be a beautiful place if love becomes the motivation for our actions.

None of this requires any "joining." By now, you should have realized, you are already a member--a member of the human race and God (regardless of the name you call Him and Her) loves you.
