Introduction:

Since we launched the website back in May of 2004, there have been those who have come to us with varied questions regarding Twin Soul and Soul Mate relationships, but few questions have actually dealt with general spiritually. For some when they read what ZZ has to say it just all clicks! For others most of it clicks but when Zeb and Zarna speak counter to some established beliefs that they have been embraced it is often creates conflict that is difficult to reconcile. This article attempts to help those who feel as if there are in this situation.

Also as is often the case with any spiritual teaching that begins to create a following that is new, we get accused of being a cult. We are in good company. I could tell you of many who have experienced the same result when love was the only motivation behind their message. This article also speaks to this question.

And third, we appeal to you who may be visiting our site for the first time and our regulars who come to us month after month to help us serve you better. We hope that this article sooths your concerns on several levels and that it provides a better understanding of our motivation and what Melvyn Caryl and Zeb and Zarna are all about.

On Christmas Day a dear friend, one of our spiritual family from The Netherlands wrote and asked me some pertinent questions: “What is The ZZ Mission?" and "How much freedom do I have to be me?"

These are real life questions, ones that I feel cause 90% of our visitors to remain in the background while they silently read every article on our website month after month. There is always a reason to be cautious about the unknown and The ZZ Mission is relatively new.

So, I felt it was high time to feature an article that takes it "back to the basics" on something we may not have stressed enough in past articles.

How Much Freedom Do I Have To Be Me?

This is a very valid question. Some of you have invested many years in spiritual study and are not ready to give it up for something new (that really is not new). We do understand. Neither Zeb and Zarna or Melvyn Caryl will tell you what you must believe or do. To do so would violate every principle of free will that we stand for. This is why we said all along from the beginning, "Take what you can and leave the rest."

We are not a cult out to brainwash you with subversive ideas--unless freedom is considered subversive. Even then we caution you that for every freedom ZZ says is yours, freedom comes at a cost--it is rarely free. And since you are the one to pay for the cost of the freedoms you choose, it is your choice which ones you embrace.

Moreover, it is not “The Melvyn Caryl Mission " to convert anyone to the ZZ Spirituality. Our responsibility is to declare it as clearly as we can. The choice whether or not to accept what Zeb and Zarna have to offer is up to you.

We have often said that the ZZ Spirituality does not come from any established belief or religion. As such ZZ takes exception to some prevalent spiritual teachings that have become considered facts or universal truths. So when we, through ZZ, declare there is no such thing as Karmic Debt or Karmic Retribution, some are offended. Others are offended when we teach by the same authority: "There is no Heaven or Hell," “God does not give us commandments,” “Gods do not desires our worship,” “There are no such things as the Devil, Fallen Angels, Evil Spirits, and that Angels are not Higher Beings who channel! Again, you can read ZZ's reasons and make your own decisions about their validity.

But what about those who wish to be ZZ Teachers?

If a person chooses to teach in the name of Zeb and Zarna, they must declare the ZZ teachings and maintain the integrity of the Message. What you choose to implement in your life is different. ZZ does not tell you what you personally must choose. One is declaring the ZZ Message. The other is what you choose to implement in your life. We have no place in judging how anyones life practice.

So, for those who have spent years studying other spiritual teachings, you do not have to instantly throw that all out. Eventually it will become apparent why Zeb and Zarna guide us as they do (beyond just the fact that ZZ said so). For some it will take more time than for others.

Remember, "When the Student is ready a Teacher will appear."

What many of you do not understand is that I, Melvyn, have to study the ZZ Messages even when I channel them. Why? Because when I channel ZZ, I go to a place where I often do not have conscious recall of what was said--even though I am apparently conscious enough to take dictation from ZZ. When you reach that point where you are channeling higher beings from the Otherside you may experience the same thing. Since I became a channeler, I have read other's accounts of their channelings and I am not alone in this. It is a rather common phenomena.

So the question is: "How much freedom do I have to be me?"

Answer: As much as you need.

But remember for every freedom God gives you, mankind extracts a price. For every freedom you choose there is a price you have to pay to someone. Usually that price is pain and suffering. Man does not intrinsically accept God's love, especially those in a position of power to control you--this includes your religious leaders.

Unconditional Love is God-like love. Love without -- "conditions, expectations, possessiveness, or exclusion of others."

Every one of these four freedoms that are the foundations of Divine Love, as mentioned in the last article posted on this site—Freedom: The Ultimate Expression. Your friends, your family or your husband or wife may stand in your way, blocking your practice of some of these freedoms. How you choose to express any of those four freedoms is strictly up to you.

What is The ZZ Mission?

The ZZ-- Zeb and Zarna-- Mission--is to bring to human kind on this planet the unbiased clarification of their teachings given many times before but changed and misinterpreted by those whose intent has been to gain control of humankind for their own purposes. They have spoken before using different names. This new attempt is given through their chosen Speakers—Melvyn Caryl. At this time they call themselves by their Composite Soul name Zeb and Zarna to illustrate the balance of Masculine/Feminine within the One God who is a duality–Mother/Father God.

The ZZ Mission can best be explained in four parts:

The Reality of What The
ZZ Mission Is:

The reality of what the ZZ Mission is includes this website, "The Voice;" Over 130, and growing "ZZ Messages" channeled over the past three or so years, and the 60 plus Articles on this website--all of which is part of the Zeb and Zarna "Progressive Revelation" meaning that it is continual and ongoing.

With the Healing Team, we have used a Chat Room for months now to perform coordinated worldwide healings, both personal and directed toward our environment with some striking results both for those who participate and those who are the objects of the healing.

Our website is less than two years old and really only took off some 14 months ago with a lot of hard work from Caryl and a lot of help from two dear friends who also run similar spiritual websites. According to our webreport statistics, the number of repeat visitors to our site increaces every month. But only about 10% are on our Announcements List and 1% are avid workers and participants in our weekly healing events.

So, naturally, it is our desire to know how better to serve all our visitors and encourage more of the 90% to come forward. We are in the process of finding and incorporating a on-the-website Chat Room wherein we can better serve you with our weekly healings, lectures and seminars. This also ties in to our intended book publication for 2006.

The Dream of What The ZZ Mission Can Be

We, Caryl and I, with a lot of help from our friends have created the "Reality of What The ZZ Mission Is." What The ZZ Mission becomes depends a lot on You. We channel. We write articles and share the ZZ Messages with you through “The Voice." But it can be so much more that will lead to
"ZZ The Dream."

There is hardly a spiritual teacher who doesn't offer seminars, but we want to try something a little different. We have regulars from all over the world--Denmark , Sweden , Great Britain , Germany , The Netherlands, Croatia , South Africa , The Seychelles, Brazil , Canada , the U.S. , Australia , Indonesia India and Singapore . With these distances it will be difficult getting all of you in one place for a workshop.

So we plan to provide intermediate level and more advanced level subjects through online fee-based seminars from material that is not made part of the beginning level information on the website. For instance: Advanced use of the Power Symbols; The Self Approach Method (SAM) to Meditation; The Goddess Principle--The Seven St eps of Empowerment Through the Power of Love.

This is the dream that will lead to our book publications, which will eventually lead to lectures and retreats in popular places around the world where we have a large enough gathering to sponsor them.

What does the ZZ Mission Teach?

For those who claim we are some brainwashing cult out to control your mind, we can assure you we are not. The ZZ Mission is spelled out clearly in more that 60 articles on this website, but that is several hundred pages of information. For this article, let me summarize what we believe in a "nutshell."

While we have been given some controversial positions on the body of worldly religions (read, "What's Wrong With Religions") this is not subversive --unless it is subversive to believe in equality. Men and women are equal. Women are not "possessions."

We believe that we are all God's Children--every man, woman and child of every race and nation, and are creations of their Spiritual Parents--God (who we choose to call Zeb and Zarna). You can call that same God "Mother and Father God," or "Mother Goddess" and "Father God." As you are of the same ‘kind’ as your earthly parents, you are the same ‘kind’ as your Spiritual Parents. We are all Gods and Goddesses and a part of us (our Soul) is part of God.

This is why we claim to be a "Twin Soul Goddess Culture." We do not worship Goddesses, no more so than we worship God--God and Goddess do not want our "worship." They want our recognition as equals for who they are and to understand who we are. This leads us into the Twin Soul belief--that everyone of us, regardless of our incarnated gender, contains the feminine, Goddess, and the masculine, God.

You might say The Twin Soul belief is our "mission within a mission," and here we create a lot of controversy. Zeb and Zarna have chosen us to straighten out much of the misinformation spread across the Internet and in books by various authors who quote other misinformed authors and dating clubs as to what Twin Souls are. Consequently, we can't help but chuckle when others come to the Twin Souls, Melvyn Caryl, who represent the Twin Soul God/Goddess Zeb and Zarna and try to tell us about Twin Souls. We politely listen, for they have a right to believe the way they wish, but we have come to teach Zeb and Zarna's Twin Soul Spirituality. It does not come from us.

What we choose, is our right also. It cannot be said that we try to corrupt people's minds and destroy marriages. The truth is Zeb and Zarna are very pro-committed relationship (we, Melvyn Caryl, have an accumulative of 66 years of successful marriage, 5 grown children, and Caryl has 4 lovely grandchildren.)

Yet those disgruntled spouses of difficult marriages where subtle uses of domination and control has been a long term destroying factor, don't know ZZ’s pro-committed relationship stand. They can’t understand why after their respective spouse has discovered The ZZ Mission and their marriage fails. It doesn't dawn on them that their mate came looking for us and discovered us, because their marriage was already failing and probably has been for years. People come to us, their Spiritual Family, because they inwardly know the pain and suffering they may be facing and need our love and support to help them through--and they get it!

The ZZ Mission is not a specific healing method. We believe that God heals through us and through the Power of Love. About the only kind of healing practice ZZ would object having their names associated with would be those that teach that it is through your power (and not God's) that you heal. Even still, you could practice such, just as long as you didn't associate ZZ with that method.

The ZZ Mission is not a cult that tries to gain control of your mind. The ZZ Mission is a spirituality that gives you the freedom to exercise the mind God gave you and cautions you that with every freedom given by God, man often extracts a price. Neither we, Melvyn Caryl, nor ZZ, will violate your life plan--choices you made to experience in this life before you incarnated.

What the ZZ Mission isn't!

The ZZ Mission is not a return to an Egyptian Isisean cult or religion. However, many of our Spiritual Family feel in a far distant life they had a connection to that time and the destruction of the Isisean Temple of the Valley of the Moon (along with the Goddesses there). The Wheel of Time has made a complete cycle since then and many of who were together then return again to reestablish The Twin Soul Goddess Culture in the New Age of Aquarius.

No longer will spiritual beliefs be enforced at the point of a sword or lance. Love returns. Ask yourself, how many women (Goddesses) in recent history led their armies to destroy innocent men, women and children because they believed in God differently? How many men (Gods) commanded their people to slay every man, woman and child, kill all their livestock, salt their fields, and poison their wells--so they will know the Lord Thy God? Which kind of God or Goddess would you choose to follow? We only present the facts contained in their spiritual books. We have made our choice. Your choice is up to you.

The ZZ Mission is not dependent on any other religious or spiritual belief and this perturbs some when they come to "The Voice" with expectations. You might be surprised at what you read, but still you have the right to choose.

The ZZ Mission we hope is refreshingly different in some ways, familiar in other ways. No, you do not have to throw off what you have learned from others, unless you are ready to, and only then when you understand the reasons behind the difference.

Help us grow in 2006 and bring to the world the ZZ Dream by telling us what you are interested in. This is our "life's work.” Hearing from you enables us to provide your needs and help bring others to “The Voice” and enable us to fulfill this dream. Really, as we have been saying all along, the choice is up to you.
