The Voice of Zeb and Zarna

Celebrate your Accomplishments

Introduction:

On the Solstice, 22nd of December, many who visit The Voice also attended the Twin Soul Goddess Celebration that was held here on the site in ZZ Chat. It was a beautiful time for us all, and it was suggested to us that perhaps we could put on the site the inspirational message that is always given during the occasions of the Solstices and Equinoxes.

The following message was the Caryl's address to those gathered in the chat room. The message is one that helps us realize that we are often the recipient of hidden blessings, and is especially appropriate at this time of year when so many are setting goals for the year to come.

We hope that you will be encouraged by these words.

Welcome! We are pleased that you have chosen to join us for this occasion to honor our Spiritual Mother and Father and the Twin Soul Gods and Goddesses within each of us. I know that some of you are here to participate in the ZZ Earth Healing Project.  We are grateful for your participation and welcome you.

When getting ready to write this opening address, I wasn’t sure what to write about until we channeled Zeb and Zarna yesterday (the 14th). They made a suggestion that got me thinking. So I am going to follow through with that suggestion because it is a really good one.

When I think of the Goddess Celebration, I think mostly of Zarna, the goddesses of the past and our little goddesses of the future. I did not think of this as a celebration of our personal accomplishments of today (the Gods and Goddesses of the present).  Zeb brought this to my attention and it made me think about how much our lives have changed in this last year.

I don’t mean just our Quadrant’s (my life and Mel’s, along with our spouses), but most of you know there have been many changes in your lives that were of choice and planned. I am speaking of the lives of just about everyone I know, including those who serve as healers with the ZZ Healing of Humanity project. We have all had a busy productive year!

And how does that relate? Well Zeb says, “Celebrate Your Accomplishments,” and as I gave this some thoughts, I realized that most of what I have heard from others this year has been about the stresses and strains that life has brought to them.

One has moved to another state, and their whole life has changed. Another has family stresses with teenagers, and we all know how difficult that can be. Others have ended long-term relationships and some have started new ones. Some had babies. One of our senior healers has taken a job for the first time in many years which has also changed the whole structure of her life. And I could not go on without mentioning that one of our group had three adult children move back home while they go to school.

Wow, I thought, I am glad that’s not me!

But my response made me think again. We each have in our lives the perfect environment and conditions that will foster growth. For me, that is not having my kids living with me again! But for another it is the perfect setting.

There is not one person who serves on the ZZ Healing Team who has not had a whopper of a year! And then I thought of the creation of these events, and the cycles of our adult lives.  We are each co-creators of circumstances by our choices. There is not one of you who did not choose the direction your life have taken this year. And why do you think that is?

Growth! If life stayed the same there would be no growth, no purpose for being here.

We are different people this day than we were when we gathered for this celebration a year ago. We are stronger spiritually. We are more in tune with who we are today and who we will be tomorrow. Everyone I know has grown from the struggles they faced as they moved through them. Each has made huge strides in personal growth.

For some, this is self-reliance. For others, it has been personal sovereignty. And for others it has been forgiveness, or acceptance, or any number of different steps toward achieving their ultimate goal—Soul Development.

We are here today to celebrate our accomplishments. You might not look at them this way at first, but each step along the path is an accomplishment. It is just that when we are moving from one minute to the next, day after day we do not recognize these steps.

And here is where Zeb’s constant reminder about “Cycles within Cycles” comes in. Just as we move through the seasons of the year, we also move though seasons of our life. They will be different depending on your age.

With children we recognize these cycles easily as they go through the typical emotional and physical growth of their early years. We see the challenges they face in learning how to talk and walk, and loosing their two front teeth somewhere between their sixth and eighth year of age.

We see their choices, actions and reactions to life often in terms of age “appropriate behavior.” However, we forget that this “age appropriate” behavior does not stop when one moves into adulthood.

The time of the teenage God/Goddess brings certain typical decisions, actions and reactions. We experience different things as a young adult, and throughout our lives we continue with these battlefields of learning experience, such as motherhood, fatherhood, wife, husband, bread winners, baby sitters, and grandparents, aunts and uncles, employers and employees. All the stages of physicality bring different challenges. Each life is designed to bring us the kinds of experiences that will benefit all of who we are--our Composite Soul

Cycles.

You are not alone.  No matter what you might think at the time you move through these challenges, you have not failed. It is only with time that you will be able to see this. There are certain advantages to the perspective that physical age gives you.  I can say that from experience.

Physical life is the most difficult choice for soul development. It is the fast track. Not the easy track. Just being here on planet Earth is an accomplishment.

So I challenge all of you to look at your lives with self-compassion and acceptance. Sometime today take just a few moments of reflection and look at how far you have come. Look at what you have recently learned about yourself and others. Recognize that you have made great strides. Then pat yourself on the back and give yourself a big hug! You deserve it!

Celebrate your Accomplishments.

You have grown.

I love you all and am very happy to share this time with you.
