Tonight must be the night of seeking and finding. For the past year and a half, I have been drawn to the internet in search of answers for questions I am not even sure I have actually articulated. Your site has touched me, as well as very gently and clearly spoken to me. Thank you for your honesty, commitment and above all, love for all.

Over New Year’s… I met someone that I feel uniquely connected with. For the past weeks, I couldn’t stop thinking, actually communicating in my head with him, and this mental chit-chat had me reflecting on all those special relationships I have or have had. With all this reflecting, there has been hope of understanding that this recent meeting is linked to a past life and that it was a reunification with a special “soul mate.”

…I have spent the last 6 hours reading as much as possible on how to recognize one’s “twin soul”. What I know is I am willing to wait for the universe to direct me to my “twin soul”. However, all this info has only stirred up an impatience in me to be “serving” that which I/we are meant to be doing. There is a sort of unrest in me similar to the descriptions of yearning to return home, yet, it is a yearning to be in a partnership to serve.

My question is what can I do to open myself up for channeling? I have no experience with it, and although I have read a bit about the technique, the nagging “what if I do it wrong” seems to pop up. At this point in my life I really feel the need to have some answers and/or a feeling of connection with the other side.

Welcome to the ZZ family. This is Caryl, and we are delighted that you contacted us. We are happy to hear that Zeb & Zarna’s words have touched your heart. We thank you for your praise. It is responses like yours that inspire us and make it all worth while. If you have found our website, and the information on “TheVoice” speaks to you, then it is likely that you are from Zeb and Zarna’s soul group or from one of the many alliances made between soul groups for the service. This is why we have the website and the purpose of the ZZ Mission, to bring people together, and to lift their hearts with love and hope and self-empowerment.

There are many things in your letter I wish to comment on, but first let me explain that not all of the ZZ information is on the website. This is just the beginning, and there will be continued Zeb & Zarna teachings for years to come. In fact, this website is just a preview of that which is to come. We believe you will find much information already on the site and invite you to read it all. We will continue to announce more as it comes.

Here you have actually asked three separate questions. Your first and second points go together, so if you will bear with me, I will charge ahead and try to bring these two issues into clearer focus.

This is very possible, in fact, likely if this is what is coming to your mind. If you allow your intuition to guide you, you will often find that your “first thought” about something is the inspired one. I don’t know what you have read on this website, but I feel the need here to point out that what is presented here on this website adequately outlines the clues to a Twin Soul connection. What most visitors to our site, who are eager to find their Twin Soul seem to miss is that there are other Soul Mate relationships that are just as rewarding, just as spiritually linked, where service to humanity is also their focus.

Almost everything that we outline as recognition of a Twin Soul reunion is nearly the same with a Near Twin reunion. In fact, according to ZZ there are actually very few Twin Souls who are joined in physicality on our planet. Most couples, who think they are joined with their Twin Soul, are actually enjoying a wonderful Soul Mate relationship with a Near Twin. This relationship is marked with the stamp of the perfect love. This is something that we have hinted at on this website, but obviously not spelled out clearly enough.

There are many very advance souls on our planet right now who will serve others or possibly the ZZ Mission by sharing their unique talents during this time of transition between where we are now, and the beginning of the New Grand Cycle. Some have already approached us and are unselfishly lending their assistance. In the before-life, these souls made plans or charted to serve humanity in this way. This may be why you are feeling this urge. But very few of these wonderful people will do so as a united twin.

Some of them have their Twin Soul waiting for them on the Otherside when they return Home. (Like my husband.) In fact, most of them do—but this does not mean that these individuals are lacking in spiritual soul development or maturity in any way. Many are just as mature as those who will find and reunite with their Twin Soul. So don’t think that you can’t serve on your own without a twin. That is not what ZZ has taught us and certainly not what we wish to imply on this site.

I am finding that many seem to believe that “service” must wait until you are reunited with your twin. This is a misunderstanding —probably because many of the articles on this site and on other sites address the Twin Soul reunion and the Mission of service that reunion usually brings, but I am going to try and dispel this misconception. Where it is true that Twin Souls, once they are united, are focused toward a particular service which becomes evident to them once they are joined—and sometimes before they are joined. Mel and I were both writing before we were joined—actually wrote a novel together before the channeling began. Now we write together in service.

If twins do unite in physicality, it is because they have planned it that way, and in these cases there is a ‘mission’ involved. There is a “Master Plan. The ‘Big’ God’s Greater Plan for the New Grand Cycle. As in our service, Mel and I, in the before-life chose to be united in physicality to serve as spokespersons for ZZ to help them fulfill their part (ZZ) of the Master Plan. Their Mission has become our mission. You see? We all work together to get the job done, each using their created talents and helping mankind on this planet to individually connect (Hear the Voice) with their God and embrace their Sovereign Self.

We are all created by our Creator Gods—Mother/Father God, with specific talents to serve. There are many role categories—like Builders, (builders of our societies) Warriors, (protectors) Guardians, Healers, Organizers, Mediators, Soul Healers, Teachers, and Way Showers to name just a few. While in the incarnation process, many of us try different roles—categories of service that are outside our specific roles—not our primary given talents—just to give it a try. So we have various abilities that we have developed over many lifetimes, however there is usually one that overshadows all the rest. Your twin, and your Near Twins will have the same aptitudes, but they may be expressed in different ways that are complementary. Chances are that you have been taught or have developed the very skills that you are destined to use in your role of service.

So don’t hang back. If you want to serve, we embrace you, and welcome your help in the service of the ZZ Mission. If the ZZ message does not feel right to you, then use your God created abilities to serve humanity where it does ‘feel’ right. I will soon go into this in more depth in another article regarding this question. For clear understanding one needs to understand created roles and how important they are. But perhaps this will give you, and others what you need for the moment.

Now about your Soul Mate and past life possibilities.

Every soul is a Twin Soul. However, a Near Twin is also a Twin. Not very many bring this fact to the forefront, but it is true. Near Twins all come into being at the same time. If we use ZZ’s favorite way to explain the correlations—“The Above as Below,” we can use the model of the biological fraternal and identical twins. Both kinds are twins—but only one actually comes from the split of a single egg. The Twin Soul is like the single egg—Identical twin. You can think of the yin yang symbol as a double yoked egg—one half representing masculine, the other feminine. But Near Twins are born within seconds of each other, each one a Twin Soul, but according to ZZ, all are birthed very much like a litter. This litter of Twin Souls is called by ZZ a Twin Soul Family. All of them in this one litter have the same abilities. They are brought into being by the command of the One Mother from specific soul parents with specific soul signatures [like DNA] to fulfill a need for certain created abilities. Because of this, the synchronicities one would find with a Twin Soul, can also be found with a Near Twin, but perhaps in a slightly lesser degree—but not much, and not always. Twin Soul and the Near Twin will be very much alike.

It is my hunch, but only you and this person you speak of would know for sure, that he might be your Near Twin, and if so, you can often find a rich and interesting past life connection with a Near Twin. It is lovely to discover such a loved one and reminisce! This just happened to me. The connection was immediate—in a couple of emails. And since then, we suspect at least three past lives that we have shared together.

With a Near Twin you will find, as I did, that you have many of the same interests, abilities and synchronicities. And of course, this person is also Mel’s Near Twin, so all three of us have intertwining synchronicities. Our Near Twin Family (Mel’s and mine) is finding us, just as Zeb and Zarna said would happen. See the article on Synchronicities.

The Near Twin relationship is less volatile because the two are not exact complimentary opposites like the Twin Soul. If Twin Souls come together before they are Bi-gender Balanced, they can, and often do, clash big time! Near Twins, do not. And when there is a past life history, recognition is often immediate. You know this person! So you see, if you are feeling these things, chances are you have connected with someone very special and close to you from your Near Twin family. The same can be said for others who are not your twins—like an individual soul from a neighboring Twin Soul family within the Mission Group Cluster. These are called Companion Mates, and again it is the past life history that usually brings about this recognition.

In the case of my husband, I was his sister in his last life. I am an Artisan/WayShower, he is a Builder. Together, because we are both Mature Souls, our differences complement. I live in “Never, Never Land ” and he lives in the “here-and-now.” This alliance has been good for both of us. He keeps me anchored. I lighten him up a bit!

There are all kinds of close soul alliances that develop over the many cycles we spend in our soul development period. But it is important to remember that if a person is in Soul Mate relationship—The Twin Soul is closely connected to the mate in these relationships. My husband and my Twin have shared a life together in the past as well. So we are talking about souls who have worked together fore lifetimes—we love each other.

So if I were you, I would keep open and listen with your heart. Not everyone is scheduled to meet their Twin Soul in this life. Don’t pass up a beautiful relationship with a Near Twin. If your Twin Soul reunion happens later in your life—contrary to what others have said (I can tell you from personal experience)—a Twin Soul reunion does not have to destroy a spiritual union with a Near Twin or Companion Mate that already exists. Remember, if you have connected and in a relationship with a Near Twin—your Twin Soul other half is your mate’s spiritual brother.

GM. like all of us, I would encourage you to continue to work on your own personal soul development, and embrace the love that comes to you. If you are to reunite with a Twin it will happen. You should not go looking for it. But don’t wait for your twin to find your place in service to mankind. Remember your abilities and interests are the same as your twins. It is quite likely that meeting your Twin might just happen in spiritual service. You will have this in common. If it is time, you will be brought together.

Now lastly your questions about channeling—if you haven’t read, How It Began, the Channeling Process, I think that would be a good start. But let me give you some pointers that might help.

Let’s not call it channeling—that seems too formal and sometime overwhelming . Let’s call it talking to God, because that is what I am going to suggest for a start. Why not start at the top! Usually when we pray it is a one-way conversation. We talk, and they do listen, but most of us don’t hear back—why? Because we don’t believe we can.

Just as there is no wrong way to pray, there is no wrong way to talk to God. So I would suggest calling out to Zeb or Zarna. They are listening for your voice and will hear you—especially if you use their names. That’s how Mel started. Focus on questions of personal information —things you need to know for yourself. And listen.

Find a way that works for you. Sometimes relaxing in a hot bath in the evening with a candle will help you focus on inner connection. And usually people will leave you alone in the bath tub. Making the connection is not the same as mediation where you try to clear your thoughts. It is rather a calming of the mind and relaxing. Starting with meditation to get relaxed is good. Then bring to your mind what it is you want to know, call out to Zeb or Zarna and ask your questions. Listen for what your internal voice tells you, and pay attention to the subtle difference in the character of that voice.

I would suggest you keep a pad and pen near by to record what you receive. When I first started to channel, I would go so deeply into trance that it was hard to remember or record what came to me. Now I close my eyes for a second or two in concentrated focus and the connection is made. But it took some time to get to that point. Oh, one more thing. If you want to communicate with Zeb call on Zeb, if you want Zarna call on Zarna—they will come to you together, but one will not over talk the other. In other words, if you are communicating with one, the other will not jump in unless you invite them.

And here is the hard part. Believing! Believing and separating your thoughts from their telepathic voice. There is a subtle difference, but success begins when you start to trust what comes. I would also suggest that you only try your connection with Zeb and Zarna. They are very high level beings and skilled. If you are successful, let them help you connect with your spirit guides and others that are less skilled. If this is your desire, then it is best to connect with others through them.

My first clue that I was hearing their voice was the use of my name. When was the last time you called yourself by name in your thoughts? Also unannounced, Zeb woke me up at 3:00 in the morning and started chattering away. When was the last time you awakened to a monologue going on in your head? Another clue is if what you get is completely different from your point of view on whatever your questions might be. If that happens, I suggest you pay close attention. These are just clues.
