If someone is going to have an accident which is going to leave them impaired, why wouldn’t they be taken out in one shot at the accident as a whole person?

…If you are disabled in one life, are you like that the next time? ... Are some lives meant to be normal and others disabled? What types of conditions vary from life to life? …Do we come into each life a ‘fresh’ whole person? …When the lifetime with an impairment is over, is the karma for that experience over, and you are born a normal person again the next time?

Dear Maura,

Thank you so much for you question. Our heart goes out to you. Such an abrupt change in life condition is always difficult. I was born with my disability, and so I never knew the difference. I had to struggle to overcome and be who I am today. But I do understand your questions and felt them so important that I waited to answer until we could ask Zeb and Zarna in a channeling session. But during the channeling process, something really exciting happened. Which I will tell you about in a moment.

You are going to get two sets of answers, one from me, Caryl, and one from a surprise highest level entity.

First let me direct you to articles on our site that deal with life plans or charting the incarnational experience. You will find more detailed information in these articles than you will find here in this brief answer. These articles will help you understand the process, but to summarize—in the before-life we choose what we wish to experience. I know you are going to say—"I didn’t ask for this!"... and that is a natural human response, but the fact is, you did. Our path is decided by us, for reasons that are not always apparent in our lifetime—but I can tell you from personal experience that as you get older—like me—in my 60’s—you will begin to see why you chose a particular hurdle to overcome.

These handicaps are chosen by us to further our soul development. Certain conditions will have the affect of perfecting qualities that would normally remain dormant in a ‘normal’ life. All life is normal. It is just our perception of our difficulties or hurdles that make it seem as though one condition is better than another.

Also, no one—and I must stress this—no one is punished by God or any other high level being for choices we make in our physical life. We are the ones who decide. During our life review after we return Home to the Otherside, we are the ones who determine if we have achieved our goals in the life we just lived, or if we fell short. If the latter is the case, we have the choice to design the next life with a different set of circumstances that will provide spiritual growth and experience. Often this involves a choice’ to experience the opposite side of life--kind of a “walk in the other man’s shoes” kind of thing. This is not punishment—no one makes you do any of this. Some never do such a thing—it is up to us and how we choose to go about fulfilling our life plan. This is our choice, decided by us.

Retributive karma is a myth, established by priests as a measure of control. A person who plans a serious physical disability is not likely a young soul, but more likely a very mature soul who has charted a difficult life for the purpose of accelerated growth. We can think of this as polishing the gold of the soul that will shine though if we just let it.

Now let me explain what you are about to read.

When we channel, we usually connect with Zeb and Zarna. In fact, they are with us all of the time and telepathic connection with them is almost instantaneous. But occasionally, other higher level beings—meaning those very near to, or The Source themselves, will filter down though either Zeb or Zarna. Let me explain that this is extremely unusual and has only happened a few times, and these entities must be filtered to us through beings on the Planes above us. Here is a clip from a ZZ Message that will explain why.

Zeb:> 82:3 …Your "All Thing," "The Source," "The Most High God" are beings of such power that no one speaks directly to them except through the levels of God below which comprise the grid or "Matrix Mind of God."

4. No human [in physicality] can handle or channel that much power or force without us, all of us [high level beings] that include Zeb & Zarna filtering the power down to where it can be handled.

6. It would be like plugging your standard 100 watt light bulb directly into the fifteen million watt source from a power grid of electricity. Your mind, the light bulb, would explode without "step-down transformers." Believe no one who claims to channel The All Thing directly.

Maura Dear, you misjudge the value and beauty of the life you live and cannot see the sunrise of a New Dawn for looking into the darkness that passes. Turn your face to the New Light and see your coming. It is not for mortals to question the unknown paths you chose before you came into your life, but to walk them to the fullest, knowing that you have been given each New Day to observe and learn through the experience.

You ask many questions about reincarnation and being born normal, when the real question you seek an answer to is, "What is the value of life as you now must live it?"

The value of life, Maura, is measured by how you overcome obstacles that you chose to challenge and grow by. Do you think those who have it easy and put forth no effort are better off than you? Think again.

No, Maura. Our Messengers--Melvyn Caryl are both, as you would call, mentally impaired with dyslexia and had to overcome reading and learning problems in their formative years. Some of their life-experiences would make them less-than-normal in some eyes, but these are our Heralds of a New Coming. Some of the greatest minds your world has ever seen have been mentally or physically "impaired." Seek to learn more about the life of Albert Einstein, the Father of Relativity, or the blind philosopher of the early Greeks, Plato. Your greatest theoretical physicist living in your time is a quadriplegic.

Maura, listen to your heart and the Feminine Wisdom that runs in your energy--know that you choose what is to be in your life not we who are the Gods and Goddesses beyond your realm. You choose your life path.

You choose whether or not to incarnate, and if you do, it is for one purpose and one purpose only--soul growth through direct experience. There are other slower ways.

You are not some flower seed blown on the winds of fate. You chose your life and your destiny, and we allow it so that you may experience and grow no matter how difficult or painful your choices may be.

It is your choice also to look back into the darkness of what used to be and call that normal, or look into the rising sun of a New Dawn and be an inspiration, a Guiding Light to others.

Maura, you speak of "gathering information for a possible book on disabilities." Using your own words, who will be those you wish to inspire? Normal people who cannot identify with your experience? Or to those impaired that you would give hope? Before you can give hope to anyone, Dear, you must change the filter or lens through which you see life and not judge it as normal or abnormal. There is no such thing. There is only Life on your side and this side.

We beyond your physical realm would hope you choose to be like our Messengers, Melvyn Caryl, and seek to inspire others with the hope and inspiration that they can overcome such handicaps by accepting that life is as beautiful as you choose to see it. This is your choice--for you, and only you create your own reality. It is not according to God's Will (except for the God that you are) nor karma.

There is no good or bad (except for the evil that some men create). There are no higher mental abilities or lower mental abilities, no lower or evil material things of life or higher material things of life. It is as Caryl has said many times, and she is right, it is all “God-stuff.” Nor must you abstain from experiencing all glories life has to offer provided all is kept in balance. These concepts of retributive karma and abstinence taught by Eastern gurus and Western priests are inventions of man's imagination fostered by the desire to control the minds of others. It is not of God.

We give you only Freedom and Love. You are a Goddess, experience life as you choose. Live it to the fullness that you are able, and glorify each New Dawn, for in that New Dawn a new beginning comes.
