Introduction:

As most of you know, I get lots of emails asking questions on all subjects with an emphasis of Twin Souls. I try my best to answer all of them as quickly as possible and focus no the intent of the questions asked. Sometimes this is difficult because it becomes obvious within the content of the email that the person asking the question has read some of the articles but not enough to get the "whole" picture.

This does present a problem, for the answers I give are mostly repeats of the same information I have answered before and actually already appears in the Q&A section of the website.

Such is not the case with this article. It is my intent to clarify statements made on this website about When Twin Soul joining occurs. And how younger people fit into the overall picture of our changing world.

I wrote this answer on 3/22/06. Zarna tuned into the need and on 4/1/06 through Mel and gave us a very interesting slant on this subject. So I encourage you, after reading this article to read, Zarna's Message to Young Goddesses.

Hello again Melvyn Caryl,

I am one of your first students of the Twin Flame concept. I emailed you guys when I first recognized my Near Twin who I thought was my twin. Since then found my Twin Flame, but he is in that stage of not wanting to give me his heart because of his own judgments of himself and others.

My ascension has been a hard and lonely road, but I finally have found my GODhead… I am 23 now with no children, but true hopes of having a child one day with my twin who has three children of his own already.

He is someone with many secrets and judgments, where as have learned to transmute my judgments into love for people of all kinds. My higher self helps me finally recognize him in darkness. I am trying very hard to bring him out of darkness into more light. I know I am the only one who can do it (True Love).

I love you guys for giving me the truth of Soulmate love. My only problem with you guys is your judgments of the youth. We are more powerful than ever now, and some of us do have the power to reach our twin flames young in age for our missions. I am one of them. I also will like to thank your friend for helping me. She is an artist so she understands an artist mind and heart. She felt my power in wisdom, and gave me the right messages to continue my journey. I truly love you all for helping me a student and teacher of love…

This is a long one, so fix a cup of tea and get comfortable.

Thank you for the lovely letter. I am so glad that you feel we have been able to help you. I will tell my friend thank you for you. And I should also mention that I am also an artist—I have worked in just about every medium. I am retired now but had a long career as classical dance teacher. I do create now for relaxation. My latest thing is wall murals for fun.

I am so glad that you finally wrote us a note! We have wondered about you and how you were doing. You have said several things in this email that I am going to respond to, and try to put into words in an understandable way what we are trying to say to you younger people. Perhaps it is because not all read all the articles on the site. I think this is how the ZZ teachings get misunderstood.

Let me see if I can explain it to you. I am 63. I have had 4 children—they are all grown now ranging in age from 43 the oldest to 32 the youngest. The girls (women) are the oldest and youngest, and the boys (men) are in the middle. I also was a ballet teacher for over 35 years so between mothering and years working with children, I know and understand the development phases of children growing up. I taught children from ages 6 to adult. I have also taught ballroom dancing, so I understand the social aspects of masculine/feminine attraction, dating and meeting…etc. I had one failed marriage when I was very young and one that has lasted for 39 years—I am still married to him. And I have the love and companionship of my Twin Soul. My life had been very full.

I have also incarnated too many times to count—I mean that literally—and I can remember some of them, and what certain relationship were like. Just like everyone else who incarnates, I had my struggles as a Mature Soul growing to a physical adult human in this life. Even though I was an old soul with lots of experience in physicality, childhood was not easy, but I always thought about God and what it all meant. So I have a wide range of experience in understanding the physical and spiritual maturation process.

I have not made judgments about the “young” but observations. There is a difference. I don’t judge what people do, only they can do that, but I can often see what people are doing from years of watching others move through certain phases of their lives--from a spiritual eye, psychic, and from a physical standpoint—they are not the same. And I think if you look at our articles carefully, we preface statements with “usually” for there are always exceptions.

Let me give you an example. You have probably watched a baby, maybe six months old begin to scoot around on the floor—finding their knees and then falling back down again. They usually laugh and giggle at their new discovery--that they do not have to stay in one place--and before you know it, this little kid is all over the place, crawling around and getting in to all kinds of mischief. This is totally normal. This is the way most of them progress—but do all of them go through this process? NO!

Some babies don’t crawl. Some babies find a way to pull themselves up and off they go—running all over the place much to the dismay of their parents who now have to watch them every minute! So you see with this little illustration I can say that “most” children begin to crawl between the ages of 6 months and one year. But all? No! I can not say that, but if you look at the general population one can see a norm—an average and can say that most babies do not walk before they crawl. The fact that one child crawls and then other walks is not an indication of their their intellect potential.

Just like we can say, most Twin Souls do not unite until they are older.

Okay let’s take this another step.

Through a child’s developing years we can expect certain things to be accomplished at certain ages. At about 7 they lose their front teeth. Between 7 and 12 they grow like weeds and all kinds of little changes happen before puberty sets in.

And then, Wow! Puberty! We have huge physical and “thinking” changes. They are growing, physically and intellectually maturing—they probably know about sex by this time, but do they really understand what they are feeling? Those little twinges of sexuality that are mysterious and wonderful. This is kind of like a young person trying to figure out if their newest love is their Twin Soul.

Let’s say at 15 they are old enough to physically experience having sex, but are they ready to handle the consequences of that? Or a committed relationship where these feeling could be safely expressed? Not that there is anything wrong with sexual expression. It is wonderful, but I think most would agree that this would not be a great idea. We know that this might have worked in past generations, but that it is not a good idea in this culture, so we try to guide young people toward activities that help them grow, give them socialization and protect them until they are physically and emotionally mature before they face such connection and relationship challenges in their life. Can they have sex and babies? Sure! Is it a good idea? Not in our culture.

In the same way a feminine/masculine half of a twin may have reached maturity—but if the other half has not! Is perusing a union a good idea? No! It will be fraught with continued struggles that will seriously affect the balance of both twins.

That said, some of these children are born spiritually mature—they are old souls. But can you tell when they are 3 years old? Sometimes you can, but they still need to go through all the same physical development stages as any other child. One of my grandchildren is a Mature Soul. She is now 7, and is so proud that she lost her front teeth, got straight A’s on her last report card and can ride her bike without training wheels! These are very important skills for a 7 years old!

If you were around her much you could tell she is a very spiritually mature soul, but she loves to do all the things other kids her physical age do. And this is part of why she is here—to experience life—to add to her storehouse of tools for future use. We seldom incarnate for just one reason. We are always working on us first, and service for others is just part of the picture. A mature soul usually incarnates to eventually give some kind of service—but not until they have learned how to live in physicality and the skills needed to perform what they came for.

In many cases this means learning through experience what life is all about—the hard times and the fun times. Compassion does not come so readily from looking on, but from the experience of difficult times that we live through. I know you have had some in your life, but does it not help you “see” others and know what they need?

Of course it does. With experience, we can look at another who is struggling and say: “I know what that feels like. I can hold their hand and guide them toward their light.”

So, just as each stage in the child’s life prepares them for greater understanding and expands their experience, the same can be said for each period in a young adult’s life. Young adults have things that they need to experience—they should be learning who they are as individuals, and stretch their wings. This means education, work experience and relationship connection and sometimes having a family.

I like to call this the three “L” theory…. Living, Loving and Learning. And that means loving yourself too—there is nothing that will teach you faster than having a family, because suddenly you do not have the luxury to be self involved. Some would say that this is not spiritual work—but I tell you it is. It is the ground work for your future service. Just knowing about spiritually--is not the same as living it and putting it in to practice.

So this is where the ZZ view point comes from. Can a young person in their 20’s join with their twin? Yes! It can happen If both twins have reached their M/F balance. And that is a big if considering their youth. Does it happen? Sometimes, but not often. Why? Because Mature Souls “usually” have life skills to learn, and personal balance to achieve first so they can be of greater service. This is why many times Mature Twin Souls will meet young—will connect, but not join, and then go separate ways until late in adulthood. (Joining in this case is not sex but a bonding of soul) They must follow their individual paths until they are prepared to do as they have planned. Some Twins Souls have ‘recognition’ of their twin, yet if the twin is not ready, it can be very difficult.

Now I have to say something about other sites that focus on the sexual connection between twins. Yes it is wonderful, it is powerful, but what others don’t seem to realize is that these wonderful sexual unions and communions do not happen just with twins. I have heard people say: “This has to be my twin because this is the best experience I have ever had! We were In Spirit together. This was different.”

Yes, the experience they describe is a spiritual communion—we call it Divine Sexuality. And I believe them completely. I just happen to know that this does not only happen with Twin Souls. It can happen between any couple if the two have reached a M/F balance within themselves at that moment of complete connection (the inner, and outer, masculine/feminine aspects of each person) —man, woman, and God united. This is not unique to twins. However it does happen with twins. Please, I urge you to read the book, Transcendent Sex: When Lovemaking Opens The Veil, by Jenny Wade, Ph.D. Her research will show you that this is not just for twins,

So, I do not judge. I give information and express possibilities to those who email me. I give you and others the words Zeb and Zarna give us. I give those young people who contact me information that might help them decide if they have found their twin or not. It is not for me to decide. And what difference does it really make if you love this person with all your heart?

Let’s use your case as an example. Let me look to see what you told me in your letter a little over a year ago. (I just looked) You were having a really hard time and you thought that your boyfriend then was your twin. Well now you know that he was not. And you think that possibly this new person in your life is.

If this is so, he is not ready for union right now, is he? You said: “He is someone with many secrets and judgments, where as have learned to transmute my judgments into love for people of all kinds. My higher self helps me finally recognize him in darkness. I am trying very hard to bring him out of darkness into more light. I know I am the only one who can do it”

You go on to say that: “My only problem with you guys is your judgments of the youth. We are more powerful than ever now, and some of us do have the power to reach our twin flames young in age for our missions. I am one of them.”

You are an artist and a sensitive. I have no argument with the concept of powerfulness of spiritually awakened youth—not at all. But I do not want to give false information either. I wish you the very best. But you tell me, is your Twin ready? From what you have told me, it does not appear to be so. Will it ever happen? Maybe. But to achieve TS reunion, both must be ready. You might be able to guide him, but you cannot do it for him. Balancing is up to him. You see? It’s like that old saying—you can take a horse to water but you cannot make him drink.

So I believe you have misunderstood what we are trying to say about youth on this site. There is a difference between your personal spiritual maturity, your spiritual power, and Twin Soul union. No matter how much you want it or feel you need it, if he is not ready you can not force it. This does not mean you cannot serve God. Or that you are not a powerful force. You can seek a mission on your own. But you will need income, stability and a way to support yourself. And this is the time of your life where you need to establish these resources

Now I am going to tell you where ZZ says we are headed as a civilization. We are coming close to the end of an era and the beginning of another. Actually, the end and beginning of a Grand Cycle—this is not the 26,000 years astrological cycle but the completion of a phase of the overall Divine Plan for this time. There will be some of us who ascend when we cross to the Otherside and will no longer incarnate—we will be finished with the reincarnation wheel. But all of us living on this planet now are children of the half light. Half in the old, and half in the new.

Some of the souls here on earth now are very young souls and it is for them that we come to help and to bring words of the Goddess and balance between the masculine and feminine aspects. Immature souls are not evil they just don’t know how things work in physicality. And this is where the TS concept and Mature Soul comes in. The are a teaching force of the light, but not all Mature Souls will unite with their Twin.

Unlike many spiritual teachings, ZZ does not teach that the world is going to blow up and this is the end of everything, but rather the beginning of something new.

Most joined twins right now are older—notice I said most. And why is that? Let’s be very practical. Our Creator Gods are Practical. There is practicality within the Divine Plan. With a young couple who is either going to school or has a young family, how much time and funds after work and support and care of children do they have to serve others? Most, not much.

Do you know that I do nothing else but channel, answer emails, write articles, do evaluations and do dream readings? My whole life is devoted to serving Zeb and Zarna. I live on a retirement income. My children are grown and I have the financial support, time and the skill to do what I have been asked to do. This took a long time to achieve—wisdom comes with experience. And I know ZZ guided me along the way.

How many young people are in a position where they can actually devote all their time to service of others? They cannot. This does not mean that they are not spiritual or that they do not have a positive affect on those who they come in contact with. But their first responsibility is to themselves (their own spiritual growth) and preparation for the time when they can serve. This is not a judgment of their spiritual power. It is the reality of life and economics.

So here is how it is going to happen. This is not to say that there are not young twins together now. But those who are, have their first spiritual responsibility to the next generation that the will create and raise. Their mission at this young age is within their home. But there are not that many of these.

Most joined twins are older—like Mel and me--who are drawing others who will join with their Twin Soul or Near Twins—there are many in the 40 age group now who will be ready to take our place when we cross over. You and your age group will be prepared to follow after them. Each wave will be younger and younger. And yes you will be a powerful group. But just imagine the ones who follow you! Like my granddaughter who will have had the advantage of understanding the TS concept very young. You will be her teachers.

This group of children on our planet right now will be some of the first whose mission it is to unite very young and bring in spiritually advanced souls as their children. It is an unfolding process that will change society as we know it on our planet.

So here is the guideline. At what age do Twin Souls unite and join?

When they are ready!

That is all we have tired to say to you young people. It does not have anything to do with age. It has to do with Soul Maturity—achieving bi-gender balance. But can you now see how we go through steps?

Here is a marker that ZZ tells us about Twin Souls. Once a Twin Souls pair are soul joined in physicality, they will never leave each other. Once joined they are One. So if you know of twins who are together and then split—consider that they may have been with other than their Twin Soul. And with the exception of an occasional early recognition—which sometimes does happen—or an intervention of a Twin Soul for the healing of their other half-- twin soul meetings will not occur until they no longer need or want that missing something in their life. When you are complete within yourself, and it is planned, and your twin is at the same stage, then reunion is possible.

I give to you, and others who come to me information so that you can make your choices. What you believe about your relationship is up to you.

Take your time, love. Live and love and learn. Then set the world on fire with your love and passion for life!
