Often we get letters from individuals who believe they have connected with their twin and are just stymied by what they feel when they try to fit this into all that they have read elsewhere. Often it is hard for these young people to move on, even when they do know that they, and their Twin Soul, are not ready, or even close.

It was never the divine plan that one should live a lonely life with the long shot possibility that one day their Twin Soul would arrive on the scene, or mature, or like in the case--the twin who rejects or backs away. We have had many cases like this, but what is different about this person is her awakening to the realization that she has a life outside the possibility of Twin Soul reunion, and her courage to move forward. She hopes her story may help others who face similar circumstances to avoid such heartache and learn from her experience.

Dear Melvyn Caryl,

I first met my twin in 1992, but I didn't know he was my Twin at the time.

After praying for guidance, I kept getting the intuitive urging to call this man "Twin". But I didn't know that he was my twin.

In 2000 this person came to visit me to "meditate". However, when he showed up he was so excited to see me I wondered what was going on. I never really knew this man in 1992, I simply worked for him for a short time.

It's hard to explain the whole thing here, but I have had such intense synchronicities (not of the kind you mention on your website) but more like signs that I am supposed to be with this man and I haven't spoken with him since last December.

In the beginning, over 10 years ago, he was trying to get me to recognize him as my TWIN, and then when I did, he asked me if I wanted to "see each other" and when I said yes, slowly he backed away. I am frustrated because he has not responded to my letters and I have not been able to date other people. I tried but I feel HIM coming through them.

It has been difficult to recognize the twin and have him run away. But more peace has come into my being over the last couple of weeks. I found your site by searching "unification of twin souls" on the web. There are other websites I've read and many of them seem to be focused on romantic notions of twins and painful dramas. The information you all are putting out feels more accurate to me.

I feel that connecting with you is a sign of healing as well as a cause, if that makes sense. It is like what you spoke about in terms of outer and inner. In your last email you said something to the effect of twin souls either being "chartered to come together in this lifetime or not."

How does one know if your are intended to come together, and how do I focus my energy? Where do I focus my energy? I am really struggling with not being in a relationship and feeling like I am supposed to be coming together with my Twin, yet it hasn't happened yet, AND he has stopped communication with me.

Do you have any recommendations for specific prayers or anything like this? Thank you so much for your previous message and for your response in advance.

Hello MK,

Yes I do believe I understand what you are saying about finding the information from Zeb & Zarna and feeling a sense of peace and healing. Recognition of your twin is the first step, and I know it must be difficult when you have such recognition and it seems as though your twin denies or takes the connection so lightly.

I can not say for sure, but it sounds as if he is not ready. If he is your twin, and only you would know, then I would suspect if reunion is to take place it will happen later in your life. You probably read on the site that most twins do not have joining until much later in their life-near 60. You have done your spiritual ground work and it appears that you are on path.

Your questions: "How does on know if you are intended to come together?" By that I think you mean eventual joining. It is hard to say, but I will tell you want I know, and what ZZ tells us. Joining will not happened, even if it is charted, if both are not at balanced state. (Bi-G Balance) If one or the other is not ready then it won't happen until you return to the Otherside. Even on the otherside, depending on your life goals and his, more work may be needed in an alternate dimension before joining.

On the other hand, if two have not planned to join and for some reason they both make huge strides toward spiritual maturity and both achieve balance-they will be brought together. So the key is the spiritual maturity of both twins. One of our articles deals directly with this balancing -- Finding You Soul Mate: Compatible Chakra Balance. This article may give you some clues. My intuition tells me that in your case it is too soon for reunion, and that you may have other plans that have to be fulfilled before union can take place.

Maturity is not the only issue. When we chart our life there are things we choose to experience, personal needs that we plan to achieve before Twin joining can happen. This would go along with the understanding that Twin Souls do not come together until later in life. You see Twin Soul joining marks the finishing point of your Composite Soul's goals and concludes your reincarnational cycle-meaning you have finished all the requirements and are ready for ascension from the Astral Realm to the Mental Plane. This can not be rushed.

You said that at other sites you hear of romantic notions and painful dramas. It is my observation that when Twins have recognition and force the union, coming together too soon- this is exactly what happens. It can be disastrous. Under the best circumstances it can be difficult. So you do not want an early reunion.

There are three steps to Twin Soul reunion. 1) The meeting and recognition. 2) The reunion where you get to know each other and have physical contact. 3) Then the final joining-the point of final commitment-and the joining of your soul. The difficulties (dramas) we see between so many twins usually comes in the stages between 2 and 3. Most twins who experience struggles think they are joined when they are not. They are simply reunited. Time will tell if they can let go of ego enough to achieve the union of spirit it takes to join.

There is nothing wrong with relationships with other soul mates during this time-even when you have recognition of your TS. And there is noting wrong about trying to keep the lines of communication between you and your twin open if that is possible.

As for prayers. They would be for your peace of mind and help with direction. Simply talk to God. You need no special prayers. I do it every day. The difference is, for me they talk back. It's called Channeling. You can achieve this too. Simply state what you want to know, and need help with, and if you do not `hear' the answer, look for your Spirit Guides and the signs of guidance. They are always there if we pay attention. I speak to ZZ, and sometimes the higher Gods above. I am never disappointed for they provide for me that which I need when I don't know I even have a need. They will for you too, if not directly through your guides.

Do not make the mistake of obsessing about your twin. Let divine providence take its course. This is the biggest mistake I see with so many. With twins, empathy is strong and you feel your twin, which is natural, and it is easy to become obsessed with the goal and forget the journey.

How to refocus your energies? I cannot say what your chart is, but you have such a lovely spirit I would say that perhaps you are ready for service to others-not in terms of emotion or rescue, but in true spiritual service.

I appreciate your help beyond what I could ever express. I have been trying to clarify/understand this stuff for about 6 years ! ! ! ! ! And have suffered so much. Oh my God. My journey with this twin soul stuff has been extremely painful. And, for the FIRST time I feel some real clarity about it and RELIEF ! !

Also, do you have any idea what I have sent myself to do in this life? [I guess I'm doing it.] But I have always wanted to have a real spiritual companion. I'll read the chakra /soul mate stuff on your site.
