(For the Gypsies)
Come, friend, love with me and we will travel,
And wander sunlit paths with the eyes of a child.
Timeless conversations will soon unravel
Two souls in silent syncopation that run wild,
With fearless and open hearts, loyal, yet free.
No arguments or unkind words
will ever unbend, lost and broken souls
Which through new eyes begin to see,
Oak tree visions unfurled in the strong
Southwestern wind. Side by side two friends
walk in perfect unity, locked eye to eye, with twin-vision Bold,
reflecting peaceful pools that
Speak of golden eternity:
Rare to discover, even more sacred to hold.
All these dreams once out of our futile reach,
Have much to offer,
even more to teach.
