Introduction:

For sometime now, the ZZ Healing Team has worked together to assist others who need help with healing as a support to whatever treatment they have chosen. It has been a rewarding experience for most everyone involved.

About the time the team formed, I was asked about shielding against negative energies when performing healings. I went to Zarna with this and I got back that shielding was not necessary.

This was a bit confusing to me when months later Zeb and Zarna began to expound on the need for the Healing Team to shield against negative energies when in a healing session. Of course I wondered if I had made a mistake in channeling.

It was not long before we began to figure this out. This was a lesson in getting what we asked for. Since then I have been a bit more careful when asking questions of Zeb, because often they take us literally. The questions I presented was, “Do I have to worry about negative energies when involved in healing?”

I framed the question personally, not, “Does the Healing Team have to worry about shielding?” And the correct answer was No, I do not have to worry. But why not?

Well it seems that there are two reasons for this. First, I am a Temple Goddess and as such am protected from many energies that would normally effect others in a negative way. The Second has to do with what kind of energy you are working with whether you need to shield or not.

Some of you on the ZZ Healing Team will remember that not long ago in my healing meditation scripts I started making a distinction between “Field Energy” and Divine Energy. (actually it is all Divine—just from a different source.)

I was not taught to heal in this lifetime. It is something I just knew how to do—a “knowing” information from previous lives. In this last year, instruction has come from Zarna to refine these skills, giving us useful techniques intended for the ZZ Healing Team.

The answer to this confusion is that I have always channeled “Divine Energy” directly from Zeb and Zarna. There is no way that negative energy can intrude when I am surrounded with, and steeped in, Divine energy channeled through me from them. There is no need to worry about shielding when using Divine energy directly from higher levels. But some people have difficulty connecting this way, and in that case they tend to draw from the Field Energy around them. However, when using Field Energy—and some times we use a combination of Divine and Field Energy--you have to be a bit more cautions.

The key here is “area” and “attitude.” Where you are, and want you are thinking during the healing session.

Field Energy is found in the physical realm—we can call this Universal Energy. This does not mean that you can not used energy from higher level beings as well—you can, and some people are very good at it, but some are not, and there are times when the amount of energy needed requires drawing from the unlimited source of Field Energy around you. You can think of channeled energy from higher level beings as “clean” energy or “higher vibration” energy. You don’t have to worry about this energy or prepare for it.

However, Field Energy comes to you in varied degrees of vibration. We are not talking about some deep dark sinister force, but rather lower vibrations perhaps from a location that is less than ideal [we don’t always have a choice] and your emotional state that may be less than the happy loving state that should characterize your condition prior to energy work, however the latter can be overcome with a few minutes of centering techniques.

Now, let’s use my bath tub as an example. Warm water, candle light, soft music? Not much there but high vibrations. But let’s say that you are forced to work in an environment that is less than ideal. Maybe you are trying to meditate and project healing energy from your family room. Last night in this very room you and your spouse had words and the residual energy still hangs in the air. Your teen age daughter is watching an MTV video with the latest rap group. The dog is harassing the cat, and your son takes the remote and starts flipping the channels.

How’s the quality of your projection likely to be? You get the picture? Centering and shielding is definitely in order, especially if you use Field Energy, or your emotions are stirred and you are not at your best. When in doubt about the environment you are working from, or the state of your mind, centering, shielding and grounding is a must.

The following message was revealed to us by Zarna for our protection when working with healing energies. If you are new to our ZZ Healing Team or you use spiritual or (energy) healing on yourself or others, this is very good advice.

My Dear Ones,

Be blessed in all things you do out of love for others and realize that you are doing everything right when you work The Magic of Love. However, in some cases, in your excitement to get into it, you may have been leaving out a few important steps that we told you about in the Alchemy of Healing concerning preparations for Remote Healing.

There are several cycles which must resonate in harmony before you begin the energy work of The Magic of Love. Allow me now, through Mel, to remind you of these once again.

The Inner and Outer You

Mel:> When you make the outer like the inner you have accomplished the first step in preparing yourself to project the Divine Feminine Energy of The Magic of Love. Your physical (outer) body and your (inner) spiritual body must be attuned to each other and the two resonate in harmony. This is a process of "Attunement" taught by many who also do spiritual energy work. Attunements can not be learned well through the printed word since they involve detecting and opening of energy Chakras. These things must be shown by a skilled spiritual practitioner.

In time, we will give and teach attunements. The ZZ approach to this involves a form of bodily massage that frees the energy channels, opens the Chakra centers and produces the kundalini flow.

The Chakra Energy Centers

Divine energy is radiated from your seven major Chakra Energy Centers and a dozen more minor Chakra'Energy Centers. Before attempting to perform any Divine Healing energy work make sure you have opened all seven major Chakras at the very least and that none of them are "stuck." (This is one result of "Attunements") There are ways you can determine for yourself if you have a stuck Chakra (explained in The Alchemy of Healing) use those procedures.

When you are opening your Chakras do so in sequence from the Root to the Crown and when you are finished with your energy work remember to close them in the reverse order (Crown to Root). Some of you are not doing this and are suffering the minor physical discomfort that results.

Before you Project, Protect

Centering:

Part of balancing the inner and outer aspects of your body is accomplished thro-ugh a meditation technique similar to the one we are soon to give you--the Self Approach Method (SAM) Meditation. Since most of you doing energy work for our Healing Team are experienced spiritual healers, meditation is nothing new to you. Many ways work. They all accomplish the same thing--putting your self in touch with your God Self (Higher Self) which protects you and stabilizes your energy.

Grounding:.

We cannot overemphasize the importance for grounding. You must make a conscious link to your physical earth center and project the energy field which is around you. Ungrounded, you can project only your own life-force energy and you will likely feel the results.

Shielding:

Even when you work The Magic of Love for Divine Healing you must shield yourself for protection. Why? When you are projecting healing energy (Love) you are connecting with something that is sick or in need of that energy. To prevent this from pulling you down with it, you must take a step back and shield yourself. It will do you no good if you experience the suffering you are trying to heal. Shield yourself, preferably in a mirrored sphere...

Your Area and Attitude

It is not always possible, but it is ideal to prepare a place where your energy work will be conducted--one that is filled with tranquility and positive energy. If there is negative energy within the area where you plan to work you will probably feel it, and there is a possibility that if you are working with Field Energy you might project this for it is the energy surrounding you. There is a method of getting around this which will be released soon. This need has come up from not only our healing work but also from other sources. Remember, in most cases you will project the kind of energy surrounding you. It is to your advantage to make that as tranquil and positive as possible.

Preparing Your Own Energy Checklist

Here is an Energy Checklist to help you prepare. We suggest that you might post it in your work area as a reminder.

· Did you properly open all seven major energy Chakras? (Root to Crown).

· Did you discover any "stuck" chakras? (Open or Closed) DO NOT PROCEED.

· Did you properly ground yourself?

· Did you properly center yourself?

· Did you properly shield yourself?

· Did you clear your work area of any negative energy? (If not, we will teach you do to this soon.)

· Did you close down all seven major energy Chakras? (Crown to Root)

How long has it been since your last attunement? Some of us, like an old car, need a "tune-up" to operate at peak efficiency.

Zarna:> I have given the "keys" of attunement to Mel to pass along to others in another article to be released soon, but realize this, only a general level can be explained by way of an article. In time, for those who are ready a more advanced training will come.
